Our Vision

Imagine a Syracuse that has chosen a path that leads to a Time Magazine front cover five years from now announcing, “Have You Heard What They’re Doing Up There In Syracuse?”

It would be about how we as a city challenged ourselves to become more “holistic”. And as we did so, we would have helped to define a new movement toward what would be called “holistic balance”. It would be a civic movement in which we more fully met the challenges of our modern times—everything from childhood obesity and ever–increasing health care costs, to a world of overwrought materialism with the loss of connectedness to the natural world.
